About

Hello and welcome to Breakin Bread @ Dawn’s. I decided to start this blog because I wanted to share the things that are important to my life. I am a faithful Christian woman who has been serving Jesus for 26 years now. He found me when I was 14 and it’s been a joyous experience knowing Jesus. I am blessed to be happily married now for 23 years. My husband is my best friend and pastor. We have six children together. Our eldest daughter and son-in-law recently made us a Papa and Granny. We absolutely adore our granddaughter. Our second daughter and her husband are expecting their first child in Nov. another granddaughter. I can’t wait to meet her. I do not deserve the many blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me.
I also love to crochet and can’t put my hook down since there’s grand babies to crochet for.

I have a new love in my life and that’s essential oils. I want to share those with you all as well. I am hoping to make a business out of my journey with essential oils. I really believe they help with overall wellness. I have found the effects of them priceless. Of course nothing out ways praying and trusting in God.

I also am an amateur baker, and cook. Of course being a mom of six I have many hats and titles I wear.

I have been homeschooling for 17 years and I don’t know everything and am not the best teacher, but my children that are finished with school are good, honest productive members of society. They are very hard workers, and givers. They help anyone they can. I can’t help but sing there praises I am so proud of my babies. I will be posting many homeschooling helps on here from time to time.

I am a newbee at this blogging thing so bear with me as I learn and I hope you’ll like, share, follow and please comment. Let’s learn together and help each other out in life.

Oh and by the way a friend gave me the title Breakin Bread @ Dawns because I feed everybody that comes over most of the time. I like folks to feel at home here at my home. I truly do love hospitality.

Romans 12:13 – Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

1 Timothy 5:10 – Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
